Sensors and WiFi,
Enhanced Occupancy Insights
Our WiFi occupancy measurement provides a clear and simple overview of how your customers utilize their entire buildings, leveraging the existing WiFi network that is typically already in place throughout the premises. This offers a significant advantage over sensor-based solutions, which often require costly installation and maintenance due to the need for physical placement of sensors within the buildings.
Many software providers offer occupancy measurement solutions using sensor technology to deliver detailed analysis of room and workspace usage. By integrating our WiFi-based data with sensor insights, partners can offer their clients a more comprehensive view of workspace and property utilization, leading to better optimization. With extensive experience in combining WiFi and sensor occupancy data, we are well-equipped to support this integrated approach.
Why Combine WiFi with Sensors?
Complementary Insights: Sensors provide detailed, individual-level data, while WiFi delivers group-level analysis, revealing broader usage patterns and trends.
Cost-saving: By implementing WiFi occupancy measurement throughout the entire building and placing sensors in specific locations, costs can be significantly reduced compared to deploying sensors across the entire building.
Scalability: WiFi solutions are highly scalable, allowing easy expansion over existing networks regardless of building or campus size. In contrast, sensor solutions often need extra sensors for expanded coverage, complicating scalability.
Who We Are
We are 12CU, a specialized team of software developers. Since the inception in 2016, we have been dedicated to uncovering valuable utilization insights based on data collected from the building’s WiFi network.
Our interest stems from a common issue: buildings and specific spaces in particular are irregularly occupied.
Our mission is to transform occupancy patterns into actionable trends, empowering the commercial real estate (CRE) sector to optimize space usage. By doing so, we not only help our clients achieve substantial cost savings but also contribute to reducing their CO2 footprint, aligning with sustainable business practices.
Over the past two years, we have integrated advanced AI algorithms into our analysis processes. This allows us to provide our clients with the necessary reports to make strategic decisions with respect to building efficiency and user satisfaction.
